Creating a fully circular textile industry is the core mission of the Erdotex Group.
To achieve this, we follow the waste hierarchy by maximizing reuse wherever possible and selecting the most circular recycling solutions for textiles that are not suitable for reuse.
These methods ensure textiles can be used as raw materials for new products.
Today, our work is more crucial than ever, as textiles are increasingly produced for shorter lifespans and fashion trends continue to accelerate.
This makes the fashion industry the second most polluting industry in the world.
Through our activities, Erdotex Group saves more than 15,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually, based on CE Delft data.
By continuously investing in sorting processes and fiber composition technologies, we aim to provide high-quality raw materials to textile-to-textile recyclers.
This significantly reduces global demand for landfill and the consumption of energy, water, and dyes.
In addition, the Erdotex facility in Ridderkerk generates a large part of its energy needs through solar energy and heat pumps to make operations more environmentally friendly.
